The Walk of Life

A day and another and another,
Little do we realize that we are going further,
Further in the Walk of Life.
When a mistake is made,
An apology is said,
That is the Walk of Life.
We hurt each other,
And simply mutter, “Sorry Brother”,
That is the Walk of Life.
Every year we gain more experience,
And experience even more repentance,
That is the Walk of Life.
We hate some of them; we love some of them,
But we would all have spent our time thinking about them,
That is the Walk of Life.
When the Walk is finally over,
The things we learnt we ponder over,
And that is the end of the Walk of Life.
